Parent and carer coaching programme
A seven week coaching experience for parents and carers available as individual coaching or delivered to a group, in person or online.
"We have never found a course that supports parents as well as Indigo's Chemistry of Parenting Course. It has really made an impact with all those we have referred and I cannot recommend it highly enough." Beef Frankland CEO Prospex
Discover your parenting style and gain bespoke knowledge and understanding with specific modules on communication, self-regulation, boundaries and self-care to enhance your family relationships and beyond.
The course covers a new topic each time we meet. Each session is only an hour long, with space for discussion, interactive exercises and tailored support. You will learn how to translate peoples body language and enhance your own, for clearer communication; develop simple conversational tools to help your family feel listened to whilst supporting their emotional well-being; create a plan of positive habits for fun and easy family self care; learn how to deescalate challenging situations when feelings are running high; and practice simple strategies to help establish and maintain boundaries at home for a consistent and respectful family environment.
The course comes with a free workbook each week , which offers take-away tips and exercises as well the core content of each topic for you to digest at your own pace. This builds into a handy guide after completion for easy reference, and also includes tools to monitor your development across the course to chart your progress.
The aim of the course is to help you feel more confident and empowered in your role as a parent or carer as well as in everyday interactions within your community. There are no wrong answers, silly questions or hard and fast rules just the chance to explore new ideas and strategies together, to support your approach to parenting.
This course is also available in a condensed 3 module version for extended family members or partners. This can work well to ensure a consistent approach is used within the family unit.
Designed for parents, carers and extended family.
