Registered Sandstory Therapist
Accredited Creative Arts and Play Therapist
Parent Child Attachment Play Practitioner
Mic is an Accredited Creative Arts and Play therapist and is currently running a private practice based in North London.
Through iNDIGO and her private practice she supports children, carers and teaching staff in North London via 1-1, group therapy sessions, parent coaching and play-based training.
Also qualified as a Sandstory therapist, Mic uses sand to support children and young people during therapy as well as within coaching to support parents and carers.
Part of Mic's strategy for helping clients is to ensure that a 360 degree holistic approach is applied wherever possible in her work; involving school staff, parents or carers if they would like to learn more about how to build better bonds with their child.
Mic is passionate about creating bespoke programmes through iNDIGO, offering support and tailored activities that adults can try at home or in the classroom; improving attachment, communication and a general understanding about the child's developing brain.
Mic is a registered member of BACP, PTUK (Play Therapy UK) and is on the PSA Register.
She holds a current DBS check and professional liability insurance.
Mic has clinical supervision regularly and invests in CPD annually to ensure her practice is safe, ethical, effective and knowledgeable.
